Romans 6:8-11
8″Now if we have died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with Him.”
- Because of Jesus’ death and resurrection, we have been freed from sin. If we accept this gift, we can walk in the newness of life.
9″We know that Christ, being raised from the dead, will never die again; death no longer has dominion over Him.”
- Christ Jesus is forever VICTORIOUS! Jesus represents eternal life that is ours through faith in Him.
10″For the death He died He died to sin, once for all, but the life He lives He lives to God.”
- Jesus’ death broke the sin that enslaved us. The resurrection completes our atonement and is the basis for our salvation. Resurrection is the hope we celebrate this Easter—and every day!
11″So you also must consider yourselves dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus.”
- Christians must die to self and embrace our Savior and Lord in our pursuit of a victorious
Christian walk. We are more alive than ever because of Him! Through His death and resurrection, Jesus Christ has freed us from the bondage of sin, offering us new life in Him
Because He has conquered death once and for all, we have the assurance of eternal life through faith in Him. His sacrifice broke sin’s hold on us, and His resurrection secures our salvation. As believers, we are called to die to sin and live fully for God, walking in the victory Christ has won for us.
This Easter, we celebrate not only His resurrection but also our own new life in Him!
