Thanks to the gift of God’s grace, we who are in Christ have been included in the gift of the new and eternal life provided by Jesus Christ. In the resurrection of Jesus we have been included in the sonship of Christ, included in his inheritance for all of eternity.
As we reflect on the meaning of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, let us stop and give God thanks for our inclusion into this unfading hope, this gift that can only be accepted by faith in Jesus Christ our Lord.
Prayer:
Lord Jesus Christ, I thank you with all that I am for the love you have shown to me through your sacrifice on the cross and through your triumph over the grave. Your mercy is beyond my understanding but I receive it by faith. I am thrilled to be yours for eternity.
